Moretown Goes Skating, May 12, 2017











Hello Moretown School Community, 
Although spring is here (or at least on the calendar) the Moretown School's PTN will sponsor an afternoon of ice skating for grades K - 6,  at the Waterbury Ice Center this coming Friday, May 12.    Students will be back in time for dismissal.   Here are some details: 
1.  Bagged Lunches will be the hot school lunch option this coming Friday.  All classess will eat with their teachers around 11:00 (similar to our ski day schedule).  The PTN will provide hot chocolate for students as a snack.  
2.  Students must wear helmets to skate on the ice.  Bike,ski and skate helments are acceptable.  
3.  Student may bring in their own skates.  The PTN will rent skates for thoses students who do not have them.  
4.  Warm clothes are recommended.  
5.  Parents can join us at the ice center.  If you plan on taking your child(ren) home from the ice center, please let your classroom teacher know by sending a note with your child(ren) when they arrive at school.  
5.  Safety First!   We are sure that all Moretown students will follow resonable safety rules, respect the ice center and its equipment and respect each other as wel enjoy our ice time together.

(quick note:  One of our skaters from first grade who is helping to organize this event has misplaced his winter jacket.  It is a kids size XL Burton Winter Jacket colors Gray and Green.  His name "Ian" is on the inside pocket)  If you have seen this jacket please contact the main office)
