School News:

No Winter Sports Program this week!
Because of no skiing, we are having a potato bar for lunch Tuesday!




Thank you to our amazing group of parents and staff who made ECO Forest Festival happen!  It was a huge success!




In accordance with Article 9 of the Harwood Unified Union School District (HUUSD) organizational meeting held on August 31, 2016, we are notifying you that the HUUSD Annual Report, which includes the proposed 2020-2021 school budget, will be available February 13, 2020. 

The report will be available online at huusd.org. Paper copies will be available at any HUUSD school or town office. You may also request a copy by calling 802-583-7953. 

The HUUSD school board will hold an annual meeting, which will include information about the budget, on March 2, 2020 at 6 PM at the Harwood Union High School library.

On March 3, 2020 the budget vote will be by Australian ballot in all six towns. Contact your town clerk about early voting.

A "night at the drive in" at Moretown Library
Monday, February 24th, 4:30-7:30pm
Join us at the Library's winter space in Town Hall for a movie night complete with a DIY vehicle. Arrive at 4:30pm if you'd like to build the car of your dream out of cardboard, then starting at 6pm watch a family friendly movie that is rated G and features cars on our new projector. Light refreshments will be available or BYO dinner to enjoy in your car or wherever you choose to sit.

Mad River Glen is kicking off the second year of the Skiing for Scholars program.  
The program provides free skiing to all students in the Harwood Unified School District on Friday afternoons from February 14 to March 27.  The program also includes free rental equipment, free learn to lessons and a free introduction to racing. 
Finally, the “Practice Slope” Lift stays open until 5pm to accommodate a longer ski day after the kids get out of school. This information can also be found on our website at https://www.madriverglen.com/skiing-for-scholars-program/
