School News:

I Heart Art

HERE is this week's bulletin, with updates about the Board's anti-racism work, the budget, and COVID.

REPORT CARDS Mid-year report cards were sent home with all kindergarten - 6th grade students yesterday. These report cards share both summaries of the work that is being done in different content areas as well as reflections on strengths and challenges of individual students.
Please take time to talk with your child(ren) about how they feel about their work this year. Ask them what they are proud of in their work at school this year. Ask them what they'd like to work on further. If a child is able to read the report card, please make sure they do so and encourage them to share their thoughts on the teacher's notes. This year especially, with families not physically in the building, we appreciate all of our ways to connect. Please reach out if you have any questions. We will have another round of family conferences in March, but would prefer to address any questions or concerns that you have sooner than later.

To help us stay ahead of illness and keep our students safe, we are participating in the FLUency School Health Program by Kinsa. The FLUency program lets all our families order a free smart thermometer, track any symptoms in Kinsa's mobile app, and get instant medical guidance to feel better faster. If you haven't already joined this incredible program, you can order your Kinsa smart thermometer now by texting FLUENCY to 900900 or going to get.kinsahealth.com/Free-Therm(You'll receive an email confirmation.) While completely protecting privacy, FLUency will help you and our school know early when symptoms and illnesses are going around. The more families and staff that sign up to participate, the more effective the program will be! Text FLUENCY to 900900 or go to get.kinsahealth.com/Free-Therm to sign up.
