Happy First Day!

 

Good morning!

Today is an exciting day, for sure!  In just a short time your child will arrive at Moretown School and will start a new journey in a new grade... It's a great beginning.

A couple of things you will want to know this morning ( I will make it short and sweet as I know time is short on these mornings):

• If, for any reason, your child will not join us for school today, please complete this form and update Pick Up Patrol to reflect this.
• Check bus routes one more time if needed. 
• If you plan to drop off your child(ren) please do so between 7:20 and 7:40.  
• Drop off traffic will flow the same as it has in recent years. Turn in to the entrance to the left of the school and follow the loop.
• If you would like to take pictures, please park in the parking lot and snap some pictures on the grassy island near the picnic table.  There may even be some props waiting for you. 📸
• Say good-byes at the door, staff are waiting inside to help students get where they are going.
• Please update Pick Up Patrol if you have not had a chance yet.  This will help us know what afternoon plans are for your child(ren).
• Afternoon dismissal will be similar to the past couple of years.  
• We will dismiss buses first and then start dismissing car riders/walkers at 2:25.  
• The direction of traffic is the same as drop off.
• Please wait in your car and your child will be delivered to you.
• First Day folders will travel home with students today (tomorrow for Pines preschoolers).  Please take a few moments tonight to go through the folders, and send back any forms as soon as possible.
