Help needed with after school playground supervision
As you are aware, the new town office building is under construction. The work site is off limits to all families and students after school for safety reasons. There is a snow fence indicating danger zones, but there is not 24 hours surveillance of the area.
Given our reduction in playground space all playground activities occur on the area immediately behind the school during and after school. Please be mindful that our MECA program utilizes our existing playground under limitations set by State of Vermont. They must focus their time and energy to the students under their direct supervision and cannot be expected to supervisor other children not in the program given our license limits We ask that parents/guardians provide supervision for their children after school to assist us with this supervision. Thank you for your understanding and help with this situation.
MRV BASKETBALL NEEDS COACHES
The Mad River Youth Basketball League is looking for coaches for the upcoming season beginning in December. We usually have multiple coaches on each team so the work load can be shared. Teams usually have once game a week and two practices. We also provide a training session for all coaches.
A fun way to support the youth in our community - please contact Jerry Cassels for more information

Construction Update
Please be aware that our parking lot and driveway may be worked on Friday. Look for signs and or cones to show the change in traffic flow.
