This week's bulletin contains information about upcoming weekly COVID-19 testing and other COVID/district updates.


WIN Blocks
You may hear your child talking about WIN block at home and be wondering what that means.  WIN stands for What I Need, and it is a block of time devoted to giving students what they need to be most successful.  We are prioritizing Literacy for our WIN block time this year, with the help of Support Services, including our new Interventionists.  Students will all work in small groups during this block, with instruction and practice on their level to build their skills.

COVID-19 SURVEILLANCE TESTING Information was emailed to families yesterday regarding the state sponsored COVID-19 surveillance testing being offered in schools. Families of children 5 years and older can sign their child up to be tested weekly, at school, for COVID-19. The information in that message can also be found on the HUUSD website, under COVID HEALTH GUIDANCE and is linked here.

GREEN MOUNTAIN PERFORMING ARTS 2021-2022 ENROLLMENT OPEN: Let's Dance! Green Mountain Performing Arts will be offering a wide variety of weekly dance classes and after school activities for ages 5 and up. Dance styles that are offered include:
- Ballet (Ages 3 and up)
- Hip Hop (Ages 5 and up)
- Modern (Ages 7 and up)
- Irish (Ages 7 and up)
- Highland (Ages 9 and up)
- Tap (Ages 6 and up)
- Jazz (Ages 5-8)
