A note from the office:

Dear Families,

We have a new way for you to let us know if your child is absent or arriving late on any given day.  You can use it at any time to let the school know your child will be absent on the same day or in the future.  If your child is arriving late, please check "Other" and provide a reason and estimated time of arrival.

Here's the link.

You can also find the link on the Moretown School blog at the upper right corner under the Moretown Elementary School heading.  It's titled “NEW-Report Student Absent 21-22” Moretown School Blog

This can also be found on the school website if you scroll down, and it’s titled “Report My Child Absent.   Moretown School Website

An email to your child's teacher would also be very  helpful in letting them know your child won't be in school, or will be late, on a particular day.

For all end of day changes in dismissal plans, including early dismissal, please use the Pick-Up Patrol link found on the Moretown School blog here.

THANK YOU!

We are currently talking about plans for after school use with Brookside Primary School- we will keep you posted!

What is The Children's Room? The Children's Room supports families with young children by providing a space to build an informal network of peers, access local resources, and the ability to visit a free, fun and safe place to socialize! Children, parents, grandparents and caregivers come to "the room" to play, meet people, share stories, familiarize themselves with a school setting, better understand childhood development, and get to know the Central Vermont community!

Check out our website at http://childrensroomonline.org or email Heather LaRocca at childrensroom@huusd.org for more information or to join our mailing list.
