School News:

Notes from the Health Office

1. Please call the nurse if your child has an injury or other condition that requires a change in or adaptation of activity, including if they need to use an assistive device such as a brace or crutches. We need to make sure that all appropriate staff are informed of any changes that need to be made to keep the child safe and help them heal (such as changes to PE or recess activities).

2. If your child needs medication in school, please bring it to school yourself - do not send it in with the child unless you have discussed this in advance with the school nurse or principal. The nurse needs to verify the medication, dose, and amount submitted and there is paperwork that needs to be completed by parents for all medications that need to be given or applied in school. We are happy to do a hand off during the morning drop off. Mandy will be out there!

FYI:  On Friday 10/15/21, we learned about a person in our learning community with Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) at Moretown Elementary School affecting 3rd/4th grade classrooms.

Additionally, Bus 10 AM route (elementary only) and 10 PM route (elementary only) are impacted.
