Moretown School Update September 14, 2018

School Notes:

• We had our first safety drill this week.  I was so impressed with how well our staff explained it to our students in a way that met their developmental needs.  Everyone did a wonderful job practicing these protocols. While I am saddened that small children have to learn such things, in this day and age, it is important for us to keep everyone safe.
• Open house is coming right up, on Wednesday October 3 at 5:30
• Join us beforehand for a pasta dinner fundraiser for the 6th grade
• Pasta dinner starts at 4:45- 
• $5 per individual
• $20 per family
• We would love donations of:
• plates, napkins, utensils, cups, Italian bread, and cash donations are always accepted and appreciated
• Please bring all donated materials to Ms. Loretta in the Main Office

  Below are the dates for this year's district band and choral festivals. For band, it's just the 6th graders. For Choral, it's 5th/6th for Moretown.
  
  
  Band night 7 p.m. on 2/19 with 6th grade rehearsal from roughly 8 to 11 that day at Harwood.
  
  
  Choral festival is on 3/12 with rehearsal from 8 to 11 that day. Snow date scheduled for 3/13.
