Bountiful Birds!
The Moretown Library is excited to offer some great upcoming programs about our feathered friends:

All About Nests
Saturday, May 14th 1pm
Moretown Library at Town Hall

Have you ever seen the nest of a Ruby-throated Hummingbird? How about a Baltimore Oriole? Come enjoy the artistry of these feathered sculptors and weavers as we talk about types of nests, where they can be found, how the nests are made, and important facts about the protection of nests and chicks.  Bring your own photos of nests if you’d like, keeping in mind not to disturb the nest or the birds as you take your picture.

Birding By Ear

Saturday, May 14th, 3pm at Town Hall

Sunday, May 15th, 7:30am walk at Pony Farm (182 Pony Farm Rd)

Have you ever wondered which bird is making what sound in the overwhelming chorus of song this time of year? Then join the library and the Mad Birders as we delve into the exciting world of birding using our ears. We will meet indoors on Saturday afternoon to learn the basics, then practice these skills on an outdoor walk Sunday morning. Both sessions are free, and all ages are welcome.
